Of course we heartily agree with all of the above, but there's one other detail from yesterday's award ceremony which merits stylish consideration: the fact that Diana Ross chose to accept her medal wearing a pair of fabulous dangling earrings which co-ordinated perfectly with her gleaming medal and stood out marvellously next to her that other signature of hers, the full-bodied mane of hair. 

 Ross's choice of earrings was of course a glamorous nod to a styling trick which she's employed

 constantly since she burst onto the scene with The Supremes, bringing extra glitz to her stage and

 red carpet looks with a magpie-friendly array of statement ear attire. But it also serves as brilliant

 to luxury e-tailer Avenue 32, which cites Delfina Delettrez's enamel eye mono-earring as their most 

popular and, in anticipation of the stellar rise the earring is set to enjoy in the coming months, 

freshly-founded Instagram account @earafterear now posts a constant stream of aural decoration ideas.
