Nick Cannon fired back at the "bottom feeders" Wednesday on Twitter after they speculated his new song "Oh Well" was about ex-Mariah Carey.

"I don't beat around the bush or hold my tongue 4 anyone. So let me put this eloquently as possible, Go choke on a fat one!"
In the track, available on Soundcloud, Cannon raps about a relationship that was built on a "lie."
He said the song was not about the pop diva, but based on "a character piece from a film."
Cannon and Carey finalized their divorce after six years of marriage and share custody of 4-year-old twins Morrocan and Monroe.
"We are both VERY happy and have both moved on, so all the outlets reaching for gossip, it's not 2014 anymore. Do your jobs better! #OldNews," the 35-year-old tweeted to his 5.13 million followers.
Adding, "Sorry to disappoint the bottom feeders but you won't be hearing any diss records from me unless it's about the GOVERNMENT! LOL."

Cannon offered some sage advice to his social media followers: "We got to learn how to navigate through the sensationalism and lies."
And then continued to plug his new politically charged video, "Too Broke To Vote."

Carey, 45, is engaged to billionaire James Packer.
In January, Cannon congratulated the pair on Instagram.
"May God Bless Your Future
