Songs about cheating in relationships after Beyoncé throws shade at Jay Z for his infidelities on ‘Lemonade’ album.

Beyonce claims Jay Z has cheated on her on the album, "Lemonade."

Call it a musical interrogation.
After the premiere of Beyoncé's "Lemonade" on Saturday night, accusations have been flying around that Jay Z cheated on her.
Although her lyrics may have made it seem that way - the truth is still unclear.
"Are you cheating on me?" she asks outright in one of the songs.

RACHEL ROY FACES RENEWED JAY Z AFFAIR RUMORS OVER INSTAGRAM POST FOLLOWING BEYONCÉ'S ‘LEMONADE’ RELEASE
In another lyric, she says "He only want me when I'm not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair."
"Becky" was quickly labeled as fashion designer Rachel Roy after Roy posted a photo of herself with the caption "Good hair don't care."
But still, the entire scandal is pretty murky.
Beyoncé isn't the first to confront cheating in her music - and she probably won't be the last.
Here's a look at other songs about infidelity:

"Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood

Those country songs sure know how to him 'em where it hurts.
In Carrie Underwood's hit "Before He Cheats," the singer shows her tough side with the lyrics, "I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights, Slashed a hole in all four tires..."
Not only did she slash his tires, she also keyed the side of his truck and carved her name into his seats.
What's her closing argument?
"Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats."

"It Wasn't Me" by Shaggy

This catchy 90s tune had some serious issues.

Shaggy clearly admits his infidelity, but proves he's a liar with the infamous "It Wasn't Me" chorus.
"Honey came in and she caught me red-handed / Creeping with the girl next door," he says.
Shaggy's motto: deny until you die!

"Confessions Part 2" by Usher

At least he's being honest.
In "Confessions Part II," Usher admits to "creepin.'"
"This by far is the hardest thing I think I've ever had to do
To tell you, the woman I love that I'm having a baby by a woman that I barely even know."
It's sure going to sting when that little girl grows up and hears that doozy.

"Creep" by TLC

The ladies from TLC sing about their men cheating, but then also claim to go out and creep themselves.
Two can play this game.
"I might mess around it's only
'Cause I need some affection," TLC sings.

"Smile" by Lily Allen

Lily Allen is no stranger to telling it how it is, so it's no surprise she'd shame a cheater.

"You were f-----g that girl next door," she sings outright.
"What'd you do that for? (what'd you do that for?)" she questions.
Eventually she gets over it, bounces back and just shows her "smile."

"I Heard it Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye

An oldie, but a goodie.
This late 60s classic that now sits in the Grammy Hall of Fame speaks of infidelity heard frankly through the grapevine.
Gaye notes that you shouldn't believe what you hear yet you can't help but be confused.
Eventually he says "not much longer would you be mine."
At least he's realized he shouldn't keep crying over his honey who is messing around with some other guy.

"Criminal" by Fiona Apple

She feels like a criminal for her misbehaving ways.
Apple asks that heaven help her for her cheating and that she be redeemed.
"What I need is a good defense," Apple sings.
She also shares that she broke her boy, just because she could.

"Lyin Eyes" by the Eagles

"But he knows where she's goin' as she's leavin'
She is headed for the cheatin' side of town," the late Glenn Frey sang.

The rock band touched on the issue of cheating as they followed a woman who was getting all dolled up for a rich old man.
The lady couldn't hide her "lyin' eyes" as the group makes clear in the chorus.

"Unfaithful" by Rihanna

Rihanna is the unfaithful one in this slow jam.
Just like Fiona Apple, the singer shares her guilt and says she doesn't want to do it anymore.
She even compares herself to a murderer because of her unfaithful ways.
"I don't wanna be the reason why // Every time I walk out the door // I see him die a little more inside // I don't wanna hurt him anymore // I don't wanna take away his life."

"Hit 'Em Up Style" by Blu Cantrell

Oops.

What's the best way to get back at a cheater? Spend all his money.
At least that's what R&B singer Blu Cantrell said in her early 2000s hit "Hit 'Em Up Style."
Cantrell sings about going on a Neiman-Marcus shopping spree, paying the bills too late and throwing out all of her man's clothes.
She also advises other women who are betrayed to get their "hands on his cash."
