Most Expensive Celebrity Plastic Surgeries.
Follow @Mazana17Come on, show us that million-dollar smile! Whether you’re walking the red carpet in a sequined gown or dashing tux, heading to the mall for some weekend shopping or making the trek to the local grocery store in sweats and a baseball cap, everyone wants to look beautiful.
1.
From little girls begging to try on their moms’ high heels and old ladies putting on their Sunday finest to middle-aged men looking to hide the grey hair in their beards, who doesn’t want to look their best?
For most of us, looking our best
often means a special outfit, a new hairstyle or an extra dab of cologne
to boost our confidence. However, celebrities raking in big paychecks
tend to take their looks and their beauty to the next level with – you
guessed it – plastic surgery. What’s a few thousand dollars to tuck,
tighten, pull, veneer, laser or chisel anyway?
From lip augmentations, fillers and rhinoplasties to breast
implants, eyelid surgeries, tummy tucks, butt implants, facelifts and
more, Hollywood’s hottest celebrities continue to prove that nothing is
off limits when it comes to their looks. Spending thousands (and even
millions) of dollars, we found 50 of the most expensive celebrities
whose plastic surgery bills are literally through the roof! Are you
curious? Let’s take a look at these celebrities who quit chasing the
fountain of youth and simply bought it instead.
2. Kelly Rowland ($3,900)
Together, the group became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time selling over 60 million records and winning dozens of awards before disbanding in 2005. With Beyonce launching her solo career, Rowland followed suit and released hit singles like “Dilemma,” “Work” and “When Love Takes Over.”
Looking hotter than ever before at 35 years old and after giving birth to a son in 2014, the former Destiny’s Child singer has done more than simply eating clean and exercising to enhance her look.
Admitting that she wanted to get breast implants at 18 years old, Rowland waited 10 years after her mom and Beyonce’s mom encouraged her to think long and hard before going under the knife and forever changing her appearance.
At 28 years old and after months of walking around in padded bras to get comfortable with a larger bust size, Rowland spent nearly $4,000 on breast implants. Thrilled with her new look and happy that she waited a decade before the surgery, Rowland continues to turn heads with her stunning beauty and talent as part of the television series Empire in addition to her most recent debut on Chasing Destiny, a search to find the next superstar female group.
3. Iggy Azalea ($4,300)
Born as Amethyst Amelia Kelly in Sydney, Australia in 1990, Iggy Azalea has broken every stereotype imaginable when it comes to female rappers and hip hop artists.
Moving to the United States to pursue a music career at 16 years old, Azalea first rose to fame on YouTube before landing a contract with Grand Hustle Records in 2012. Today, she’s one of the biggest names in the industry with chart-topping (and catchy) hits like “Fancy,” “Black Widow” and “Problem.”
Just like Kelly Rowland, the 25-year-old Azalea has been very open about her looks and admitted in a 2015 interview with Vogue that she wanted breast implants her entire life before finally feeling emotionally and physically ready for the change.
Spending $4,300 on the implants and a nose job just months later, Azalea didn’t take the decision lightly and initially intended to keep her surgery private to keep others from feeling self-conscious about their own bodies.
Confident, talented and beautiful both on stage and off, Azalea now sees herself as a modern example for women around the world to feel more confident in their own skin. Agreeing that plastic surgery is an emotional journey, Azalea wants to make cosmetic procedures easier to admit and talk about because, as she says, “I think more people need to admit to doing it so that it doesn’t have to be so taboo – because we’re all doing it anyway.” We couldn’t agree more!
4. Dianna Agron ($5,100)
Making her television debut a decade ago on CSI: New York, Dianna Agron landed recurring roles on Veronica Mars and Heroes before catching her first major break on Glee in 2009 as Quinn Fabray.
As the Fox series amassed a huge following over its successful six-year run, Agron had already established herself as a talented and stunning star on the silver screen thanks to appearances in films like I Am Number Four, The Hunters, The Family, Bare and Zipper that kept her in the spotlight.
Though not as visible as her Glee days, the 29-year-old Agron is still making headlines today thanks to her recent engagement to Winston Marshall of Mumford and Sons.
Long before that, however, Agron shocked late night audiences in 2011 with an even juicier story when she told David Letterman that she spent $5,100 on a rhinoplasty! Admitting she liked her nose just fine, Agron had no other choice but to repair the damage from a blow she took to the face at 14 years old.
A real blonde bombshell who can obviously take a punch, Agron is undoubtedly breathing a lot easier these days as she plans her upcoming nuptials to Marshall while balancing a busy work schedule. And, speaking of work, if you’re looking to catch the former Glee star and her perfectly sculpted nose on the silver screen, be sure to check out A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island, an American thriller set to release in 2016.
5. Jane Fonda ($5,300)
With a career spanning nearly six decades, Jane Fonda is one of the biggest names in Hollywood who made her Broadway debut in the 1960 play There Was a Little Girl, which earned her two Tony Award nominations.
Bitten by the acting bug, the two-time Academy Award winner has continued to prove her talents in television and film with hits like Klute, Coming Home, Julia and On Golden Pond as well as her latest Netflix series, Grace and Frankie.
No stranger to making headlines thanks, in part, to her highly publicized marriage to Ted Turner, Fonda proved she was even more than a silver screen star early in her career when she released an exercise video that flaunted her killer body and made her a true Hollywood babe.
Releasing 22 additional videos over the next 13 years, it’s no surprise why the 78-year-old star makes the list after spending $5,000 on plastic surgery to erase any signs of aging.
Having undergone extensive cosmetic surgery over the last few years, Fonda has spared no expense in bidding farewell to her turkey neck as she’s gone under the knife to remove loose and sagging skin from under her chin and around her eyes. Openly admitting to also getting frequent Botox injections, Fonda says, “I wish I were brave enough to not do plastic surgery, but I think I bought myself a decade.” If it means we get to see more of her in the spotlight, then it’s alright with us!
6. Julie Chen ($6,000)
Born into a Chinese family in New York City, Julie Chen first got into journalism as an intern at CBS Morning News when she was only 20 years old.
With opportunity knocking, Chen continued to rise through the ranks of the industry as a news reporter and producer before becoming a nationally recognized anchor by the age of 30. She then went on to co-host The Early Show for eight years while joining the hit reality series, Big Brother, in 2000 where’s she’s been the host ever since.
Though often criticized for her scripted and robotic reporting style that has earned her the nickname “Chenbot,” the 46-year-old host is one of the most beautiful and best dressed news personalities on television today. Despite her success, however, Chen hasn’t always felt beautiful and confident in her own skin especially as a young journalist launching her career in the early 1990s.
Fearing her Chinese features would hinder her career in front of the camera, Chen was only 25 years old when she decided to go under the knife. Working as a reporter in Dayton, Ohio before landing an anchor spot with CBS News, Chen spent $6,000 on cosmetic surgery to make her eyes wider and appear more open. Though it may have boosted her confidence, we can’t help but think that her talent rather than the surgery has been the key to her success!
7. Blake Lively ($7,300)
“Gossip Girl here signing off, XOXO.” Blake Lively, wife of Hollywood’s favorite A-lister Ryan Reynolds, is perhaps best recognized for her standout performance as the charismatic and fashion-minded Serena van der Woodsen on the hit television series Gossip Girl.
Already stunning with Barbie-doll good looks, Lively was the subject of her own gossip when she posed in front of cameras with more than just a new dress and killer high heels.
Sporting an obvious rhinoplasty as well as laser skin treatments to lighten and mask her freckles and blemishes, Lively initially denied having any work done (yeah, right!) but eventually fessed up to the truth.
Aside from having her nose thinned and reshaped, the 26-year-old star also had eye surgery that was more than just about correcting her vision.
Running anywhere from $3,000 on up, Lively opted for blepharoplasty to freshen up her eyes. With a new nose, why not? During the procedure, Lively’s upper eyelids were lifted and tightened to eliminate and prevent a droopy or saggy look. The area just under her eyes, what many refer to as “bags” or “dark circles,” were also removed by a similar tightening procedure to give her that movie star glow. After all, what’s $7,300 to perfect her look when she’s married to People magazine’s sexiest man alive?
8. Victoria Beckham ($8,000)
“If you wanna be my lover…” While the days of Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Posh of Spice Girls fame has come and gone, Victoria Beckham is still one of the most popular women in the United Kingdom (and across the world) today.
From dominating the charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s with the all-girl band, Beckham has since established herself as a fashion and style icon who just so happens to also be married to soccer star David Beckham.
With an estimated net worth of $300 million and the spotlight constantly focused on her every move, Beckham turned heads in 2008 when she walked the red carpet with a significantly larger bust size – from a 34A to a 34DD.
Denying any claims of having breast implants throughout her career, it wasn’t until 2014 when Beckham’s chest took center stage once again when she shocked the media and admitted the truth about her ever-changing bust.
Despite getting breast implants in 2008, Beckham had her first breast reduction surgery to the tune of $4,000 in 2009 that took her 34DDs down to a more manageable 34B. By 2011 and after the birth of her daughter, Beckham forked over another $4,000 (only pocket change for this star!) to reduce her breasts once again giving her a more natural look that the world could easily recognize from her early days as Posh when she first made her mark on the world.
9. Holly Madison ($8,800)
A staple of American pop culture for more than a half century now, Playboy magazine has seen dozens of women grace its cover and centerfold only to skyrocket to fame for their curvaceous beauty and sex appeal.
Among these is Oregon native Holly Madison who was Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s “#1 Girl” from 2001 until 2008. Rising to even greater popularity on the E! reality series The Girls Next Door, Madison went on to star in her own series – Holly’s World – while writing her memoir detailing her life as a former Playboy bunny.
Paying for her college tuition working as a model and waitress before catching Hefner’s eye in 2000, Madison’s appearance has always been at the heart of her success. Now at 36 years old and aging gracefully in the spotlight as a New York Times best-selling author and television personality, the former Playboy bunny speaks candidly about her cosmetic procedures and the pressures of maintaining her beauty while living in the Playboy Mansion.
On the brink of rising to fame as a Playboy bunny, Madison was only 21 years old when she had a breast augmentation that transformed her petite frame into a Barbie-like figure that took her bust size from an A-cup to a D. Just two years later and already living under Hefner’s watchful eye, the gorgeous blonde had a rhinoplasty that brought her plastic surgery bill to a whopping $8,800, which was a huge risk for a struggling model new to the ranks of the competitive Playboy world.
10. Suzanne Somers ($9,000)
“Come and knock on our door…” One of Hollywood’s greatest actresses, Suzanne Somers won over the hearts of audiences around the world when she brought the ditzy and adorable Chrissy Snow to life on the beloved Three’s Company.
Recognized as a secret heartthrob among many family men throughout the late 1970s, Somers had pinup girl beauty but not even that could stand the test of time (thigh master or not!).
Now at almost 70 years old, Somers has spent an incredible $9,000 (and possibly more) on maintaining what many once called her “natural” beauty – too bad it’s not so natural anymore!
Spending almost $6,000 on a facelift, Somers took drastic steps to improve the visible signs of aging on her face and neck when surgeons lifted and tightened her face near the ears and hairline to eliminate sagging, creases and loose skin.
Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001, Somers didn’t want any foreign objects in her body (ironic, isn’t it?) and consulted with a Japanese doctor to help her re-grow her breast in a safe way. Since then, she’s managed to enhance quite a few other areas of her body as well after spending $3,000 on lip implants, breast operations and skin tightening procedures to help her regain her former confidence from her days posing for Playboy. We just can’t help but wonder – was it all worth it?
