Kanye West Is All Smiles at Another Rare Public Appearance Weeks After Hospitalization.

Kanye West appeared to be in good spirits at another rare public appearance Friday, two weeks after he spent time in a hospital for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
The 39-year-old rapper visited the L.A. Museum of Contemporary Art's Leadership Circle and Members' Opening for the Rick Owens: Furniture exhibition, made up of work by Paris-based fashion and furniture designer Rick Owens and produced by his wife Michele Lamy. Kanye was seen smiling as he chatted with her. The rapper was dressed casually in a white printed long sleeve shirt, black pants and a black baseball cap. Singer FKA twigs also attended the event.
Kanye had visited the exhibit, located at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, on Dec. 8 in what is believed to have been his first public appearance since he was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital in late November after suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation. He also debuted a new blond hairstyle. The rapper has largely stayed out of the spotlight since his hospitalization.

Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian was not spotted at the MOCA event. She too has mostly kept out of the public eye in recent weeks, ever since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October.
A source told E! News earlier this week that Kim and Kanye were at their Los Angeles home together, saying, "They were very sweet together and were very much together. They are going through a lot but from what it seems like they are doing it together and getting through it."

Earlier this week, Kanye surfaced in public for the second time since his health scare, making a surprise appearance with President-Elect Donald Trump at his Trump Tower residence in New York City.
"I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues," the rapper tweeted. "These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change."
Kanye and Trump had also met to discuss Kanye possibly becoming an "ambassador of sorts," E! News had learned.
Kanye had said at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards that he planned on running for president in 2020. After his meeting with Trump, the rapper tweeted, "#2024."
